"Easyrider" definitely got me interested in bikes. Always was a car/m-c guy. I watched the movie last year after not seeing it for a decade or two. It's definitely dated and pretty weird in places. And I didn't remember that Billy knew the Adventure Rider salute back in 1969! LOL (Of course, it got him show) I was 16 when the movie came out and I saw it with friends at an old theater in downtown Beaumont, Texas (about 50 miles west of the Texas/Louisiana border). I've seen some of the Louisiana route and some of the northern Arizona stuff, too. (Hiked the Havasupai Falls trail a few years ago, which is just north of Rt. 66 on the reservation). Great scenery!
