For those of you who have seen the movie Easy Rider, you may or may not know the iconic cafe in Morganza, Louisiana. It was torn down a few years ago, but here it is in 1986. A friend of mine emailed me this picture. If you lived then, you could have gone in and got service where they got none. Hell, you coulda ordered kidney beans, because you left yours on the freeway.
I’ve got several pictures of the Easy Rider Cafe in Morganza, but they didn’t match up. This one is the real cafe, taken before it was torn down.

It was definitely torn down. My great-aunt used to own the place. She appears in the background in several shots and has one medium shot of just her sitting at the counter.
was she the lady who didn't serve them in the movie? I'd love some pictures of the cafe if you have any. Thats awesome.
In the film credits, the cafe girls are listed as Girl #1 thru Girl #6, but is it possible to identify which girl is which number? I assume that girls 1, 2, and 3 are the first ones shown in the pan across the cafe room, with girl #1 (Suzie Ramagos) being the one sitting on the outside of the booth. After our heroes appear again, we then see the other three girls. Who is which number here? The blonde in the white, graph paper dress is sitting on the outside of the booth. Is she girl #4 (Mary Kaye Hebert) or girl #6 (Colette Purpera), or some other number? I know, this info may be a little obscure, but it’s “a small thing to ask.”
