Music?!What a wide swath this one cuts!!Well the wierdness in my playlist just goes on beyond the realm of the imagination.But,you asked,so here goes.Check out some James McMurtry(yep the son of author Larry,most famous for Lonesome Dove),he does a song called "We Can't Make It Here Anymore".Check out Chris Knight,particularly,Homesick Gypsy,and Danville.Check out some Ray Wylie Hubbard,(this one you'll dig for sure,Conversation with the Devil,and Choctaw Bingo)Check out almost anything by John Prine.Robert Earl Keen,Guy Clark.Okay so all of these are little off most peoples chart,but me,I like a song that SAYS something,and each of these folks that I mentioned are all absolutely brilliant lyrycists,and most of the songs that they do tell a story that I'm sure you've written before.Get some sippin whiskey and check 'em out,let me know what ya think.Enjoy!
